The actor Lee Sun kyun from the Oscar-winning film “Parasite” has died in an apparent suicide, according to South Korean police.
Lee was under investigation for allegedly using marijuana and other drugs. He maintained his innocence.
According to the police, Lee was found dead in a car at a park in central Seoul, with a charcoal briquette in the passenger seat.

When Lee’s manager told police he had left home after writing what appeared to be a suicide note, police started looking for him.
